Platonic Policy

Hangmate is strictly a platonic companionship platform. It is NOT a dating app, escort service, or matchmaking platform. Zero tolerance is applied to any violation of this core principle.

1. Strictly No Physical Contact

All interactions booked through Hangmate must remain strictly platonic. This means absolutely no sexual contact, kissing, cuddling, or any other form of intimate physical touch. Companions and Clients are expected to maintain professional and respectful personal boundaries at all times.

2. Zero Tolerance for Sexual Harassment

Any requests for sexual favors, explicit conversations, unsolicited explicit imagery, or romantic advances will result in an immediate, permanent ban from the platform. We actively monitor reporting channels, and we reserve the right to report severe violations to local law enforcement under the IT Act, 2000 and the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.

3. Public Settings Only

For the safety of all users, all Hangouts must begin and remain in public locations (e.g., cafes, malls, public events, parks, restaurants). Booking a companion to a private residence, hotel room, or secluded area is strictly prohibited and violates this agreement.

4. Reporting & Immediate Action

If at any point during a Hangout a user feels uncomfortable or if boundaries are crossed, they have the absolute right to end the Hangout immediately. Users must report the incident to the platform via the Trust & Safety portal. Escrow funds will be frozen pending an internal investigation.
